Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
- Master the art of break-fix and preventive maintenance with mid to expert level skills.
- Diagnose root causes by observing device operations, remove and repair faulty parts, and test to ensure peak performance.
- Source essential parts and supplies needed for efficient repairs.
- Take independent charge, adhering to industry standards to perform maintenance duties.
- Set up varying machining operations, from lathe to drill press, and undertake welding tasks as needed.
- Commit to high 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Champion continuous improvement (CI) activities, celebrating processes that lead to cost savings.
- Maintain equipment history within CMMS, ensuring updated records.
- Navigate control systems to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues.
- Harness predictive maintenance technologies for gathering performance data.
- Guide junior technicians while emerging as a leader in small teams.
- Engage in both on-the-job training and technical studies for personal growth.
- Prioritize safety by following guidelines, staying aware of surroundings, and identifying hazards.
Your Experience and Skills :
Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalency.Hold an Associate’s degree with a technical focus and 3 years of relevant industry experience, or complete the ATS Technician Progression Program.Mastery over electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.Proficient in using hand and specialized tools.Willingness to travel as assignments demand.Proficiencies Required :
