Tennis Professional – Full Time

Job Summary :

The Tennis Professional is responsible for teaching private and group lessons, generating awareness to members and guests of the club that are interested in tennis lessons.

Summary of Essential Job Functions :

• Teaching private lessons and group Tennis lessons, stringing racquets as needed. Must be able to teach lessons and clinics for all age groups and level of skill. Plan and coordinate instructional programs, lesson plans and clinics.
• Organize, advertise and run mixers, tournaments, round robins and other social competitive events.
• Oversee daily operations of fitness, tennis and pickleball facilities and staff with emphasis on guest service, cleanliness, safety, fiscal responsibility, staff guidance and support to make the fitness and tennis centers the best facilities possible in order to support resort goals.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive member and guest relations at all times.
• Resolve member and guest complaints, ensuring satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Work in conjunction with Director of Membership and Tennis Committee to coordinate Member Tennis Socials and Tournaments as needed.
• Compile monthly financial reports.

Compensation : Hourly rate plus 80% of lessons
