General Statement :

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Accounting, performs

professional accounting duties in the maintenance and review of fiscal

accounts; work requires independent judgment on technical accounting in

accordance with account classification and auditing standards established by

the agency and statutory requirements; work is reviewed for over-all

standards of performance; supervision is exercised over the accountants and

the principal account clerks; performs related work as required.

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting AND six (6) years accounting experience,

with a minimum of three (3) years in a governmental accounting setting.

Essential Physical Demands :

• Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Hearing – Position requires the ability to receive and respond to verbal communication with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Lifting, Standing, and Walking With or Without Reasonable Accommodations :

Position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs on an occasional basis
