Position Summary
The Solutions Analyst is expected to build a comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to the logistics business while engaging with each segment within eShipping. The primary role of this position is to analyze customer supply chains to recommend logistics solutions for shippers and carriers and to implement these solutions into major accounts with the goal of increasing net margin and securing long-term relationships with the clients and vendors. To achieve this, the Solutions Analyst is expected to build new, interactive, and sustainable business models to highlight opportunities which improve the distribution process, KPI evaluation, and procurement intelligence. Experience with Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Power BI is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following :
- Build, design, analyze, and interpret Excel reports and BI dashboards that support new and existing business solutions
- Provide analytical support on the discovery or execution of sustainable internal and customer facing business solutions
- Continually analyze carrier relationships, programs, and strategies across all modes of transportation (LTL, FTL, Parcel, International, warehousing)
- Team-up with Account Managers to onboard new customers, increase utilization of eShipping services, and to identify new sources of revenue & net income (minimal travel may be required to customer locations)
- Maintain an understanding for current Solutions protocols and all-mode industry related news and trends
- Assist with customer implementation activities
- Assist the Sales Team with applicable new solution activities
- Assists with the development and maintenance of company KPI dashboards or reports
- Other duties as assigned
