We're seeking a passionate and licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services to students in grades K-8 or high school, depending on assignment. Start Date : ASAP
Contract Length : 9+ months with direct placement option
Pay Range : $55-60 per hour
Hours : 30+ hours per week, during standard school week (no weekends)
What You'll Do
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students in assigned grade levels.
- Conduct evaluations and develop tailored therapy plans to address communication challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure holistic support.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Support development of speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication.
- Implement strategies to enhance receptive and expressive language skills.
- Educate families and school personnel on effective communication techniques.
- Assist students with cognitive communication skills such as memory, problem-solving, and executive functioning.
- Provide recommendations for continued therapy or additional support services.
What We're Looking For
Current, up-to-date resumeActive New York State Speech-Language Pathology license.Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.TSSLD Certification (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) is required (pending certification is acceptable).Must pass drug screening, background check, and fingerprinting.Commitment to a full academic year (9+ months).Why Join Us?
