• Experience with the EPIC documentation system preferred

Description :

The registered nurse will provide care in a medical surgical environment.

The position involves working on a unit with 32 beds and a daily census of approximately 32 patients.

Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

The nurse will be responsible for care management tasks including blood product administration, central line management, wound care, and oxygen administration.

Additional responsibilities include managing surgical drains, IV maintenance, and various other patient care needs.

Staffing ratios will be maintained at 1 : 6.

The registered nurse may be required to float to similar units as needed.

Weekend shifts may be required, with a total of 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.

The nurse is expected to follow isolation precautions and maintain a safe environment for patients.

There is no on-call requirement for this position.
