Job descriptionSocial Workers (all levels) Income Maintenance Caseworkers Clerical / Administrative Support Staff Provide direct support to DSS programs, casework, and administrative functions. Assist with client intake, eligibility determinations, and case management. Deliver high-quality clerical and administrative support. Maintain compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA, and DSS regulations. Collaborate with DSS staff to ensure continuity of services. Relevant education and / or certification for assigned position (e.g., BSW / MSW for Social Workers, experience with eligibility systems for Caseworkers). Prior experience in social services, public assistance programs, or administrative roles preferred. Ability to pass a criminal background check, employment reference verification, and drug screening. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Competitive hourly pay rates based on role and experience. Opportunities for ongoing assignments. Potential conversion to permanent DSS employment (subject to County hiring policies).
