Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for an ICU position working day shifts and requiring an active GA or Compact license and at least 18 months of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Critical Care (CCU) unit of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
  • No on-call requirements
  • 13-week assignment
  • Responsibilities include providing advanced nursing care for critical patients in the ICU
  • Must adhere strictly to rules for requested time off (RTO) : maximum five days if not near a holiday, maximum three days if near a holiday, and only one holiday request permitted
  • Time off requests that include multiple days around holidays are not approved and must be spread out
  • Candidates may only be submitted for one position at a time

    • Requirements

  • Active GA or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 18 months recent full-time ICU experience required
  • Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility; no local applicants accepted
  • Returning former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have a separation of at least 1 year, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
