We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commissioning Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. Our ideal candidate will be a highly competent professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, adept at managing and coordinating various technical aspects of construction projects. The candidate must have a strong background in Electrical, Construction, EPC, Commissioning, and Substation projects.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Commissioning Manager, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities :
1. Oversee the commissioning process for all construction projects, ensuring that all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the client.
2. Develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules, and ensure that they are adhered to.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the commissioning process are effectively managed.
4. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
5. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all equipment and materials are delivered on time and are of the highest quality.
6. Train and mentor staff on commissioning procedures and best practices.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the commissioning process.
8. Document and report on the progress of the commissioning process, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications :
To be considered for the role of Permanent Commissioning Manager, candidates must possess the following qualifications :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven expertise in Electrical, Construction, EPC, Commissioning, and Substation projects.
3. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make effective decisions under pressure.
7. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. A thorough understanding of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.
9. Certification in commissioning management or a related field would be an added advantage.
