Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on a Bariatric Surgical Unit in Florida, requiring a FL or Compact RN license and BLS certification.

Job Details

  • Position is on a Bariatric Surgical Unit within a hospital setting,
  • Telemetry monitoring and care for bariatric post-surgical patients,
  • 12-hour day shifts, 06 : 45 to 19 : 15,
  • 36 hours per week with every other weekend required,
  • Requires availability for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve / Day,

Job Requirements

  • Active FL or Compact RN license in hand,
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience,
  • Current AHA BLS certification,
  • Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days of start,
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred,
  • Possess a valid US Social Security Number and US home address,

    • Additional Information

  • All travelers must provide two professional references and a copy of their driver's license,
  • Applicants must comply with facility radius rule; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate,
  • Must be open to working assigned holidays and every other weekend,
  • COVID vaccination is not required,
  • Only one position submission allowed system-wide,
