About The Position
ID : 73238175 Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Description : Endless Mountains Health Systems, a community-centered facility located in Montrose, PA, is seeking two dedicated and experienced Step Down Nurses for night shifts. These nurses will float between the Step Down Unit and Med-Surg Telemetry Unit, providing care to intermediate-level (IMC) patients in a smaller hospital setting that offers complex patient care.Key Responsibilities :
- Provide safe, competent care to Step Down and Med-Surg Telemetry patients
- Float between assigned units as needed
- Administer and titrate cardiac and insulin drips
- Act as Charge Nurse when required
- Accurately document care using Meditech
- Utilize Omnicell for medication administrationRequired Skills & Experience :
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Step Down, IMC, or Telemetry preferred)
- First-time travelers welcome
- Proficient in : - Foley catheter insertion - Administering subcutaneous insulin - Managing potassium runs - Using and interpreting cardiac monitors - Identifying and reporting low potassium levels and low oxygen saturationsCertifications Required :
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
