General Surgery Opportunity in Minnesota- Located in Fergus Falls, MN; 60m from Fargo, ND; 200m from Minneapolis- Full Time; Employed- Permanent Position- BE / BC, ATLS & ACLS required- H1b Visa Sponsored- Join their team of 2 full-time & 1 part-time surgeon due to an upcoming retirement- This established practice includes general, colorectal, laparoscopic, breast, wound care, endoscopy and colonoscopy services but also welcomes growth opportunities for new services- Trauma level 3 hospital with nearest level 1 trauma center 1 hour away- 2 year partnership track- Referral base draws from 7 clinics, and a primary service area supporting a population of 70,000- Call 1 : 4- ED staffed by employed ER boarded physician 24 / 7, Hospitalist coverage 24 / 7, & full anesthesia team Compensation - Full benefits include : health, dental, vision, life insurance, group health insurance, disability insurance (short and long term), & malpractice insurance- 6 weeks paid time off- Guaranteed salary for the first 2 years of employment with the opportunity for additional compensation based on production hours worked- Generous sign-on bonus, relocation reimbursement, and paid professional dues- Profit-sharing & cash balance plan- Annual employer contribution of 10% of wages towards 401K plan (100% vested without employee contribution requirements) Location - A not-for-profit, independent health system with 110 providers and 19 specialty services- Minnesota has consistently ranked in the top 10 best states in the United States to practice medicine and ranks particularly high in the best quality of life and best place to raise a family- Our practice is independent and operated by a physician board of directors which allows our providers to practice in a manner they see fit for their patients- Our providers enjoy living and working here, and you could too!
