Low-Voltage Vendor Management Principal TPM

The Low-Voltage Vendor Management TPM will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of low-voltage vendor engagement and performance, ensuring that Oracle's data center projects are executed with precision, consistency, and efficiency on a global scale. This role demands a strategic thinker who can develop and implement processes, drive continuous improvement, and foster strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead a critical function within Oracle's Data Center Organization, influencing the success of global data center projects. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive innovation in vendor management and construction processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Vendor Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with low-voltage vendors, ensuring clear communication, alignment with Oracle's standards, and timely delivery of services.
  • Contract Management : Participate in the contracting process, negotiating service-level agreements, and ensuring vendor compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendors, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Planning and Coordination : Collaborate with internal teams, including Construction Management, Design DataHall, and Supply Chain, to forecast demand, plan resources, and ensure site-specific requirements are met during the construction process.
  • Material Management : Oversee the planning and staging of low-voltage materials, coordinate storage and inventory, and integrate material delivery schedules into the overall project timeline.
  • Global Consistency and Standardization : Implement and maintain standardized processes and procedures for vendor engagement and material management, ensuring global consistency across all Oracle data center projects.
  • Risk Mitigation : Identify and proactively address potential risks related to low-voltage installations, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing project delays.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation of vendor performance, project milestones, and any issues encountered, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Innovation and Process Improvement : Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve quality, and reduce costs.

Requirements :

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical program / project management role, preferably within the data center or infrastructure industry.
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, components, and installation processes in data centers.
  • Expertise in vendor management, including supplier qualification, contracting, and performance oversight.
  • Proficiency in planning and coordinating complex projects, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with vendors and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance monitoring, KPI development, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in material management and logistics coordination is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications in project / program management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are highly desirable.
  • Disclaimer : Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.
