The General Manager for Liberty Packaging Omaha will lead and manage Liberty Packaging’s Omaha location while working collaboratively within the Central Region and across Liberty Packaging’s business to provide vision, leadership, and day to day management for commercial, front-end, customer service, and operations teams. This leader is responsible for meeting business objectives and customer requirements with a focus on product and process excellence. This role leads teams to achieve objectives in the areas of safety, revenue, quality, and operational excellence.

This position reports directly to our SVP of Packaging and is located at the Liberty Packaging facility in Omaha, Nebraska.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the senior leader for Liberty Packaging Omaha; provide leadership to functional direct reports.
• Plan, develop, organize, and execute our profitable growth focused business plan to meet company financial and strategic objectives.
• Responsible for the overall P&L results which include cost-saving and overall growth measures.
• Work collaboratively across the operating division and in partnership with shared services and functional groups to achieve local, region, division, and enterprise objectives.
• Manage resources to effectively balance strategic objectives with financial return and the efficient use of assets.
• Ensures manufacturing schedule attainment is meeting customer service expectations, cost, and quality considerations.
• Partner with sales leadership to analyze, plan, and implement new opportunities for customers, and support operationalizing new opportunities as new business arrives.
• In partnership with enterprise EHS function, lead the development and implementation of all safety policies, processes, and programs to promote a culture of safety and reduce incident rates.
• Establish and maintain customer and other related business relationships; participate in key customer and supplier visits and calls.
• Manage employee performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against goals, ensuring timely feedback, and addressing performance challenges in a prompt and professional manner.
• Represent Liberty Packaging Omaha in the community in accordance with core values of Caring, Innovation, Trust and Excellence.
• Other duties, as assigned.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting base salary range for this position is $192,576 - $240,720 per year plus eligibility in annual bonus program. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and / or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses or deferred compensation options.
