Must-Have :
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy school.
Proficient in teaching and actively seeking ways to assist and engage others.
Strong ability to communicate and adapt to various residents and personalities.
Demonstrates full attention, understanding, and effective communication skills.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, excelling in multitasking, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
Possesses excellent observation, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
Effective interpersonal skills with a keen focus on customer service.
Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Description :
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekends.
Typically, will work 40 hours per week.
However, if work is completed for the day, you may be sent home.
Essential functions include evaluating physician referrals and residents' medical records to create dynamic Physical Therapy programs.
Engage with residents using innovative evaluation techniques to develop personalized treatment plans.
Administer prescribed Physical Therapy programs while employing a variety of therapeutic modalities for optimal function and disability prevention.
Collaborate with Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and Nursing departments to coordinate services effectively.
Maintain precise documentation and continuously reassess and refine treatment programs as necessary.
Communicate the philosophy and goals of Physical Therapy passionately to residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Supervise and inspire Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure optimal productivity.
Develop the skills of physical therapy staff through engaging in-service training programs.
Embrace and adhere to the facility’s mission, vision, and policies while prioritizing resident care.
Leverage technology to enhance client care through innovative documentation.
Safeguard organization value by maintaining confidentiality and cautioning against potential breaches.
Stay updated with best practices in Physical Therapy to enhance job knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
Contribute to the success of Physical Therapy and the organization by welcoming diverse requests and supporting team members.
