What we are looking for :

Maldonado-Burkett is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Transportation / Drainage Engineer to join our Austin office, which is located at 2312 Western Trails Blvd., Suite C-303, Austin, Texas 78745. We are seeking an individual with 5-10 years of experience to help deliver transportation / drainage and traffic engineering projects across the state of Texas and beyond, with a concentration in Hydraulics and Hydrology (H&H). Licensure as a Texas Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred, but highly qualified EIT candidates will also be considered.

How youll make an impact at M-B as a Transportation / Drainage Engineer :

The Engineer will perform engineering work in the field of transportation engineering. The work performed may include (but not be limited to) the following :

• Drainage Design (H&H);
• Erosion Control Plans (SW3P);
• Traffic Control Plans and construction sequencing;
• Signing and Pavement Marking Plans;
• Roadway Illumination design (Lighting plans);
• Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) plans;
• Data collection;
• Report writing;
• Other technical assignments as required by M-B.

What it takes to be successful as a Transportation / Drainage Engineer :

For candidates without PE Licensure or the ability to obtain it within six months, registration as an EIT is required.
