Customer And Partner Solutions Engineering Manager, Gtech

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google's users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration, and more).

The gTech Users and Products (gUP) Search Real World Journeys (RWJ) team supports strategic verticals for Search in the travel, food, activities, and finance spaces focused on pre-sales, onboarding, reactive / proactive support, tooling and dashboards, and consultative services. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers in the Technical Solutions job family to build and support internal and external facing tools and dashboards. You will also interact with cross-functional stakeholders globally across multiple functional areas in Google. You will prioritize feature requests and work with the team to develop and launch solutions working closely with legal and compliance teams.

The responsibilities include leading a team of individuals, setting and communicating individual and team priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching. Oversee data pipeline and full-stack development for web-based tools and reports for internal and external partners. Drive engineering and operational best practices, and oversee maintenance and operations activities, including offshore development and operations teams. Incorporate relevant AI / LLM technologies into tooling features and also team workflow. Recognize the nuances of travel and travel-adjacent industries and develop subject matter expertise. Work closely with some of Google's largest partners, understand their challenges and provide solutions to achieve their business goals. Manage a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders. Solicit stakeholder input, and evolve the team strategy and roadmap to meet anticipated future needs.
