Introduction Our client is hiring for a full-time Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited, state-of-the-art, multi-doctor facility located on the border of northern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This progressive practice primarily sees canine and feline patients but is open to treating a wide range of species including birds, rabbits, small mammals, goats, pigs, and even large animals, provided they are brought to the hospital. Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates a four-day workweek for full-time veterinarians, with no regular weekend appointments, supporting a healthy work-life balance. The hospital is open 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and is closed on weekends. Role Description and Responsibilities The veterinarian will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient base, with clinical responsibilities spanning wellness care, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. The hospital encourages autonomy in treating species the veterinarian is comfortable with, adding variety and flexibility to the caseload. This position is open to both experienced practitioners and new graduates, offering a supportive environment for professional growth. Practice Details The facility is equipped with advanced tools including digital radiography (standard and dental), ultrasound, cryosurgery, radiowave surgery, surgical suction, mobile anesthetic unit, and a fully equipped in-house lab. The layout includes seven exam rooms (two oversized), a dedicated surgery suite, dual dental wet tables, heated recovery cages, a separate isolation unit, and cloud-based medical records (EzyVet).
