JOB SUMMARY :

The Seamstress provides the service of mending sewing and altering employee uniforms as requested.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Processes new employee uniforms by measuring employees and altering garments to fit.
• Provides all sewing altering and mending for employee uniforms as needed.
• Provides mending service for our guests on request and minor alterations from retail shop.
• Operates and maintains sewing equipment.

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES :

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must have knowledge of sewing equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must be able to observe safety guidelines and energy conservation guidelines. Must have proven customer service skills and be able to keep records in English and maintain mathematics records.

Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.

Must present a well-groomed appearance

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
