Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)
• Kansas K-5 Teaching License in good standing (required)
• 2+ years' experience as a Special Education Teacher (preferred)
• Experience developing custom curriculum and behavior plans
• Strong knowledge of IEP writing, progress monitoring, and behavior management
  
  

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement engaging, individualized curriculum aligned to IEP goals
• Create and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Support students with mild to moderate behavioral and learning challenges
• Collaborate with general education teachers, RBTs, therapists, families, and staff
• Track student progress and modify instruction using data-informed practices
• Lead IEP meetings and participate in professional development throughout the school year
• Implement positive behavior intervention strategies to foster student growth
