Top Responsibilities

1. High-Volume Collections Calling (Primary Function - 70-80%)

Make 75-80+ daily outbound / inbound calls to customers regarding payments.

Complete 8-5 required daily activities (customer calls, reference checks, CRM documentation).

Track down customers through multiple outreach methods to maintain account payment status.

Stay calm, direct, and professional with customers who may be hard to contact.

2. Payment Processing & Account Management

Take incoming calls and process payments accurately.

Assist with loan adjustments, updates, or documentation as needed.

Keep customers on track with payment plans through consistent follow-up.

Support general A / R responsibilities within the department.

3. Administrative & Compliance Support (20%)

Prepare written correspondence to management or internal team members.

Follow compliance standards learned through onboarding training.

Ensure all actions and communications are accurately logged into the CRM.

4. Team & Department Support

Partner with the Collections Manager and team for daily workflow.

Support an evergreen, ongoing hiring need within a high-demand department.

Participate in a 2-day working interview prior to final hiring decisions.

Required Skills & Background

Experience in collections, A / R, or high-volume call center work

Comfortable being on the phone the majority of the day

Strong communication and customer interaction skills

Calm, patient, and able to navigate difficult conversations

Basic Excel skills (most work done via OneDrive / shared spreadsheets)

Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
