Primary care coordinator of interdisciplinary patient care activities and responsible for the management of patients throughout their continuum of care at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Responsible and accountable for high quality patient care through implementation of the nursing process including assessment of patient needs (physical psychosocial educational) design of a collaborative plan of care implementation of the plan with appropriate delegation of tasks coordination of team effort and evaluation of patient progress towards outcomes. Acts as a patient / family advocate she / he seeks opportunities to communicate and coordinate patient care activities throughout the continuum in collaboration with other members of the Health Care Team.
As an RN in our Medical and Surgical Sub-Specialty Clinic youll join a collaborative team of nurses who work on the frontlines of patient care. Since the Medical and Surgical Sub-Specialty Clinic serves patients from across all our clinics youll have the opportunity to touch the lives of hundreds of patients a this role youll see a large volume of patients from every clinic in the hospital providing nursing assessments performing patient teaching and lending a hand in other clinics as needed.

Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $31.50 - $55.00 per hour for the role of Pediatric Oncology Nurse II : Medical and Surgical Sub-Specialty Clinic.
