Salary Range : $50,000 - $55,000

About the Role :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented AP & Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position is vital to supporting our mission-driven organization by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a true passion for supporting the mission of a nonprofit organization .

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and process all accounts payable transactions , ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Oversee and process bi-weekly payroll , maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Reconcile vendor accounts, prepare payments, and maintain organized records.

Work closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and answer payroll or payment-related questions.

Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and organizational policies .

Provide reporting and support for audits and leadership requests.

Contribute to a culture that supports the organization's mission and values.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in accounts payable and payroll.

Strong understanding of payroll systems, AP processes, and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across departments.

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Nonprofit experience preferred but not required-must be eager to support and represent the mission.
