Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Technician Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his / her department. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his / her age-specific needs, and provides care needed as described in the departmental policies and procedures

  • Provides health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment
  • Performs radiographic procedures producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor that reflects a high standard of medical ethics
  • Recognizes conditions essential for the successful completion of procedures
  • Provides leadership and supervision of all employees and students in the diagnostic section
  • Provides appropriate health care services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology school
  • Registry eligible with A.R.R.T. and within six months become registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • One year experience preferred
