DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT

SQL DEVELOPER or DATABASE ENGINEER

Location : Detroit, MI

Duration : Long term

Rate : Best

ONLY GC or CITIZEN

Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Three years of related work experience

Three years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft SQL Server databases

Understanding of database design / architecture in a Microsoft SQL Server environment

Knowledge of strategies and approaches for performance optimization, troubleshooting and monitoring

Data modeling, query optimization and strong knowledge of T-SQL

Ability to understand large data models quickly

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook

Whatll Make You Special

Basic SQL Server administration skills

Knowledge of SQL Extended Events

Experience managing database roles and permissions

Experience with SSRS

Knowledge of data warehouse methodologies

Knowledge of the .NET platform and service-oriented architecture

Strong ability to make technical decisions with minimal information

Ability to mentor, train and present topics in large groups
