Job Title : Paint Process Engineer - Automotive Production PlantCompany Location : - Savannah, GARoles and Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Paint Shop Facilities personnel and contractors.
• Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, task assignments, and performance standards
• Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, address challenges, and promote best practices
• Ensure thorough cleaning of paint booths, equipment exteriors, floors, ceilings, and surrounding areas
• Oversee the control and elimination of dust, debris, and airborne particles
• Monitor and maintain air filtration systems, exhaust fans, and ventilation units
• Schedule and supervise inspections and preventative maintenance of booth intakes, grates, ductwork, and filter housing.
• Ensure all cleaning and disposal activities comply with company policies and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks, filter changes, inspections, and waste disposal
• Prepare reports for upper management on facility conditions, team performance, and compliance metrics
• Work closely with paint shop operators to minimize disruptions and maintain clean production flow
• Coordinate with Environmental Health & Safety teams to ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Support engineering and quality teams in identifying and resolving contamination-related issuesRequired Skills : - Proficiency in operating paint application equipment.- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.Preferred Skills : - Experience in automotive paint processes and materials.- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a production environment.- Knowledge of color matching techniques and paint formulations.
