Summary :

MCNY’s Food Pantry serves MCNY students in the Bronx campus. The pantry carries a variety of shelf stable foods that students can access to bring home for their families. The pantry is open Monday through Friday from 11am-6pm. MCNY is seeking a part-time Food Pantry Assistant to assist with daily and weekly operations of the pantry .

Responsibilities :

• Participate in Food Safety training online
• Accept and unload food truck deliveries which includes lifting boxes up to 50 pounds and pushing a hand cart.
• Keep all shelves and tables clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Coordinate and communicate with MCNY Social Worker and MCNY student workers about Food Pantry logistics
• Assist with Food Pantry / Student Services related marketing and events
• Foster a positive work environment of respect, teamwork, and effective communication.
