Skyworks is looking for a hands?on technician to join our Newbury Park Equipment Engineering Team supporting the Fab and Final Process areas. Shift - NBP A2 (Week 1-SUMT 5 : 30pm-5 : 35am); (Week 2-SUMTW 5 : 30pm-5 : 35am)

Responsibilities

• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, blueprints, drawings, and operating or repair manuals.
• Performs preventive and routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment following work instructions and manufacturer manuals.
• Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to all production equipment in a specific area.
• Performs electrical / mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro?mechanical production equipment used in the Fab.
• Performs set?up, calibration, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Rebuilds and repairs manufacturing equipment as required.
• Performs equipment modifications as directed by Equipment Engineering.
• Works on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community.
• Opporutnity to participate as a contributing member of the Emergency Response Team.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$33.22 -$58.37 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
