This is a driver team that will work together to pick up our customers' waste.

Compensation : $19 - $24 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a collection truck to collect waste and / or recycling along a designated route and transfer to a disposal site.
- Work closely with Dispatch, your Supervisor, and the rest of the driver team to service our customers on different routes and schedules.
- Load / unload waste and / or recycling materials at landfills, recycling centers, or similar facilities.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspection of your vehicle to ensure the truck is in proper working order and address maintenance issues quickly.
- Follow all required safety policies in accordance with Live Oak's Company Safety Policy, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act), DOT (Department of Transportation), as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
- Report any safety and / or employee experience issues to leadership.
- Attend and participate in all training and safety programs.
- Good problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Class A Commercial Driver’s license with Tanker Endorsement. (REQUIRED).Successfully complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include a previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.Preferred Two (2) Years of CDL Driving Experience.Ability to work early mornings, nights, some holidays, and weekends.Good time management skills to ensure assigned routes are completed efficiently and safely.Flexibility to adapt to changes as needed.Desire to work as a team, while helping and interacting respectfully with each other.Wear all required PPEPhysical Requirements :
Vision : adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, give directions, and other business interactions.Hearing : Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.Speaking : Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.Equipment Operation : Able to operate a wide range of tools.Carrying : able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs / 9kg.Lifting : able to lift up to 30lbs / 14kg.Squatting / Kneeling : able to squat or kneel.Standing : able to stand for extended periods of time, delivering information.Walking : Able to walk through the shop and other outside elements.About Company
