Novant Health Neurology and Sleep is looking for a compassionate, caring Neuro Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide outpatient care at our Kimel Park location under the direction of practice physicians. Our medical practice currently consists of a team of 5 APPs and 7 physicians and is set in a quaint rural office that provides convenience and close proximity to the city within 10 minutes.

What You'll Do

  • Provide remarkable care to patients that are 16 years of age and older.
  • Work in an environment that fosters teamwork, engagement and community involvement.
  • Commit to diversity and inclusion in support of quality care.
  • Maintain patient safety guided by “First Do No Harm”.
  • Operates Monday–Thursday 8 AM‑5 PM, Friday 8 AM‑12 PM. After‑hours care connection calls 1 week on quarterly rotation with supervising MD.

Qualifications

  • Education : Master’s degree required. Graduate of an NCCPA‑accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post‑Master’s NP program required.
  • Experience : One to three years of experience working in a physician practice setting preferred.
  • Licensure / registration : Current PA or NP license in appropriate state or current NP license in appropriate state, registry with state medical board, and current DEA registry required.
  • Additional skills : Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing; ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
