Job Description
Salary : Volunteer Benefits Available
If you live and breathe marketing and are looking for a way to give back, we need to talk. Were looking for flexible and versatile marketers to join our team to help lead our outreach, publicity, and social media efforts. Marketing team members' responsibilities include creating advertising campaigns, ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity, and creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers on our social channels. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with turning creative ideas into effective projects and campaigns. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels that will help AVFRD improve public safety and grow our volunteer membership.
As a volunteer on our marketing team, you'll partner with other passionate AVFRD members to drive both outbound and inbound marketing of public safety education, awareness of volunteerism in our community, and recruitment messaging for new volunteers. We anticipate that members of the marketing team will spend about 10 hours a month (on a flexible, self-defined schedule) to help the Department achieve our outreach goals.
While this is an unpaid volunteer position, we offer a collection of benefits including tax breaks, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings. Plus, you'll get the pride and satisfaction of serving with some of the most passionate, service-oriented members of our community to help make your own community stronger and safer.
