Our lead candidate is currently advancing through Phase 2 clinical trials, presenting a promising solution for hypoparathyroidism treatment. In addition, we are progressing a first-in-class therapy for post-bariatric hypoglycemia and a long-acting GLP-1 / GIP co-agonist for obesity, with plans to submit an IND in the first half of 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our investor relations strategy.
- Collaborate directly with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), CEO, and other executives to forge and nurture relationships with key investors, analysts, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and oversee all investor-facing communications, such as press releases, earnings releases, conference call scripts, and presentation materials.
- Manage external public relations and investor relations firms to achieve key deliverables.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, delivering strategic insights to executive leadership.
- Partner with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with SEC disclosures.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from investors and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to construct key messaging around business events.
- Conduct research and maintain an investor targeting list, including a multi-year communication plan.
- Ensure social media content aligns with corporate messaging and brand image.
- Oversee special projects to guarantee alignment with organizational goals and shareholder expectations.
- Translate complex financial data into compelling narratives that resonate with investors, enhancing shareholder value.
- Manage investor feedback and align it with corporate strategy for informed decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred but not mandatory. A scientific background is advantageous.A minimum of 7-10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Investor Relations and Corporate Communications within a public biotechnology or specialty pharma firm.Required Skills
High integrity and professionalism, especially in handling confidential information and external representation.Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.Established relationships with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts.Strong interpersonal skills and adherence to regulations governing investor communications.Proficient problem-solving and decision-making abilities.A commitment to high-quality work and an urgency to meet organizational goals.Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.Company Culture And Values
