Job Overview
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing weekly and monthly payrolls, entering and maintaining employee information, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll and monthly supplemental incentive payrolls.
Enter automated timekeeping data into HRMS and payroll systems.
Process manual checks as needed.
Maintain payroll deductions, direct deposits, and garnishment records.
Enter new hire information into payroll and HRMS systems.
Work with management to collect and verify payroll-related data.
File, process, and enter payroll change notices.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll activities.
Requirements
2+ years of payroll processing experience required.
Experience with automated timekeeping systems (e.g., WFM) and HRMS platforms (e.g., UltiPro).
Knowledge of state and local tax deductions.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent math, customer service, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and time management.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
