SR. APPLICATION SECURITY ENGINEER (STARLINK)

At SpaceX we're leveraging our experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the world's largest satellite constellation and is providing fast, reliable internet to 6M+ users worldwide. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system thousands of satellites, consumer antennae that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. We've only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink's potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class engineers to help maximize Starlink's utility for communities and businesses around the globe.

As a Security Software Engineer, you will influence the security of Starlink.com and associated internet infrastructure which our millions of customers use every day to manage their Starlink account and equipment. In this role, you will continually assess Starlink Internet infrastructure and applications for security issues, provide detailed early-stage design feedback to developers, and ensure we're protecting customer data. This role will focus on identifying new security issues, driving long-term improvement, and providing continuous guidance to developers as the Starlink system grows. You will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to bug bounty submissions.

Ideally, you have notable skills in one or more of the following :

• Web and mobile application penetration testing
• Web and mobile application software development
• Defending production infrastructure

Pay Range : Security Software Engineer / Senior : $168,000.00 - $230,000.00 / per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
