Sports Trainer

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and energetic Sports Trainer for ski and snowboard employees to join our team on the mountain, working directly with ski instructors, ski patrol, and staff to promote health, job performance, and injury prevention. This hands-on role focuses on evaluating movement patterns, providing proactive care, and offering on-the-spot guidance to keep our team safe and strong throughout the season. It's an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise working with clients with your love of the mountain environment!

This position provides safe and effective training and instruction with excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others. Provides up-to-date quality training and compassion to ski resort employees in order to optimize job performance, longevity, and satisfaction. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards.

Location

Winter Park, CO and Steamboat, CO

This position may serve one or both locations. Ten hours are available at each location.

Hours and Pay

Two weekdays and one weekend day between the hours of 3-7:30pm for a total of 10 hours. There is room for flexibility on the days and times. $40/hour.

Other Functions and Responsibilities

-Perform other duties as assigned

-Uphold emergency protocols

-Attend and participate in company meetings and trainings

Qualifications

-MS in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Biomechanics or related field - preferred

-Current Athletic Training license - preferred

-Current CPR/AED - required
