Location : Providence, RI, Pawtucket, RI, Central Falls, RI (please note : you may be placed at any of our sites that have openings or be expected to float to other sites)

Reports To : Family Development Supervisor

Employment Type : Full-Time - Monday through Friday- 8 Hour Shifts

Children's Friend is looking for a Bilingual Family Advocate to join our Early Head Start / Head Start team. This is more than a job-it's an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.

What You'll Do

As a Family Advocate, you'll be a trusted partner for families-helping them access resources, build on their strengths, and create nurturing environments where children can grow and succeed. Your role will include :

• Supporting families with parenting education, health and nutrition guidance, and home management skills
• Leading home-based parent-child activities that encourage positive bonding
• Connecting families to community resources and services
• Promoting parent engagement through volunteering and program activities
• Partnering with parents to create Family Partnership Agreements that focus on their strengths and goals
• Helping ensure our services meet Head Start / Early Head Start performance standards
• Serving as a champion for families , advocating for their needs across home, school, and community
