Job Summary
Under the guidance of the engineering team, the Installation Technician supports the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various security, surveillance, and access control systems , along with associated equipment across multiple regions within the United States.
Responsibilities include traveling to remote locations, installing electronic equipment and components, and ensuring all systems are properly configured and functional. The technician will also be responsible for testing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience installing electrical components, networks, and computer systems ( 5 years preferred ).
Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance .
Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time .
Valid drivers license required, with the ability to meet safe driving standards.
Must pass a background check and drug screening .
Proficiency in measuring, cutting, splicing, connecting, soldering, and installing electrical and electronic cables.
Skilled in installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing components such as conduit and low-voltage circuits.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings .
Working knowledge of basic electrical theory to effectively install and maintain advanced surveillance and security systems.
