As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading Tech, Media, and Telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment for all employees, visitors, and guests. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and respond promptly to any security-related issues that may arise. In this driving post, you may be required to operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. What Youll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies tailored to a technology, media, and telecom location.

Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and / or employees regarding security-related matters.

Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the location and according to Allied Universal guidelines.

What Were Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
