**Job Summary:**
The Kitchen Utility Worker is an essential member of our kitchen staff, responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen. This role involves various tasks, including washing dishes, maintaining kitchen equipment, and supporting culinary staff in food preparation. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, maintains a positive attitude, and works well in a team-oriented environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, and dining facilities.
- Dispose of kitchen waste promptly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Support chefs and cooks during peak hours, ensuring they have the necessary tools and ingredients.
- Assist with inventory management by receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
- Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen supervisor or management.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting or food service environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 10 pounds.
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks and handle kitchen tools and equipment safely.
- Manual dexterity and coordination to handle food and cleaning supplies.
