Plant Reliability Technician (Electromechanical Systems)Does this sound like you?
- You have 5+ years of industrial plant maintenance experience and can independently support a facility as the sole maintenance resource.
- You’re confident working across 120 / 208 / 240 / 480 Voltage Systems and comfortable around grease, oils, chemicals, and solvents.
- You can read ladder logic and interpret pneumatic, instrumentation, hydraulic, and electrical drawings at a basic level.
- You’re skilled with precision measuring tools, gauges, and electrical meters—and you love solving tough problems.
What you’ll tackle
Daily preventive maintenance on production equipment to keep operations running smoothly.Hands-on diagnosis, analysis, and repair of electro-mechanical and instrumentation equipment using meters, gauges, and proven test methods.Installation, repair, or replacement of components in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Rapid troubleshooting of equipment issues using proactive maintenance concepts and best practices.On-time completion of PM assignments with accurate documentation.Clear communication to management on safety, quality, and production matters.Identification of end-of-life assets and recommendations for replacements or new equipment.Positive collaboration with co-workers to maintain a respectful, efficient workplace.Relentless focus on safety—safe habits, safe areas, and adherence to general industrial safety guidelines.Other duties as assigned.Must-haves
Preferred 2-year technical degree or equivalent education / experience mix.Proven mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities across electro-mechanical systems.Ability to multi-task and prioritize without direct supervision.Strong electrical troubleshooting experience with AC / DC motors, starters, PLCs, capacitance and inductive sensors, and relays.Written skills assessment required prior to hiring.Physical demands
Mobility to walk, sit, bend, climb, twist, stand, push, pull, and lift / move up to 75 lbs; ability to work from elevated platforms and ladder lifts.Benefits
