My client is a leading injection molding manufacturer based in Syracuse, NY, specializing in plastics processing and new product development. With continued growth and investment, they are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead high-impact projects from concept through production launch. Job Description

Lead projects from concept through production launch, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.

Serve as the main point of contact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Develop and track project plans, budgets, and schedules.

Oversee tooling builds, validation, and qualification.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure production readiness.

Identify and mitigate risks, driving corrective actions and improvements.

Monitor KPIs for cost, quality, and delivery.

Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of project management in manufacturing, with 3+ years in injection molding or plastics.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Excel, Wrike, IQMS, or similar).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma experience a plus.
