The Job :
As a Sr. Product Manager, you'll be part of our DEWALT supporting the connected product portfolio, including TOOL CONNECT and TOOL CONNECT+ enabled tools and accessories. The position requires a strong focus on market opportunity & adoption, a comprehensive understanding of DEWALT ConTech customers, and validation of product requirements and claims with end-users. You'll get to :
- Strategy Development : Develop the DEWALT ConTech Connected Product Strategy with input from Category, Tools Product Management and Sales team members
- Market Opportunity Analysis : Familiarize with industry trends, assess market opportunities, develop workflows across the different C&I trades, benchmark competitors and perform competitive gap analysis
- Product Planning : Build and execute the connected tools product roadmap; provide guidance on connectivity opportunities to Tools Product Managers and facilitate business case development
- Cross-Functional Collaboration through the Phase Gate Process : Partner with Engineering and Tools Product Managers to define scope and end-user-focused product requirements for connected tool programs; directly support new product development (NPD) program execution
- Launch Support : Support connected tool launches by preparing manuals, packaging, marketing collateral, and sales training materials
- Customer Engagement & Voice of Customer (VOC) : Conduct regular site visits to understand end-user needs and pain points related to the product portfolio; assist customer service in resolving issues in the field related to connected tools
- Leadership Rhythms : Provide direct input and support for leadership rhythms and presentations, including monthly business reviews (MBR), line reviews, etc.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfort on commercial construction sites and experience using power tools
- Confidence in engaging with C&I tradespeople
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams with strong project management skills

BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field. MBA or graduate degree preferred10+ years of Product Management experience with IOT products.Must have demonstrated experience navigating the new product development processfrom discovery to development to commercializationExperience with Microsoft 35 productivity and business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)Travel Expectations : Up to 25Key Capabilities & Organizational Requirements for Success :
