BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician II to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Mease Dunedin!

Mental Health Technician II Position Details :

Facility : Mease Dunedin

Location : Dunedin, FL

Status : Full time, Hourly

Shift Hours : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM

Weekend Work : Every Other

On Call : No

The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities :

Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

Required Certification / Licensures :

BLS (Basic Life Support)

CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred

Patient Care Technician - preferred

Required Education :

High School or Equivalent

Associate's degree in related field - Preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred

Required Experience :

• 6 months - Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field
