Vermont - Nocturnist

• Vermont Hospitalist Department is currently seeking a dedicated full-time night physician to join their team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive range of duties within their field of expertise, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, preventive healthcare, and health maintenance.
• This position entails night shifts from 6 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM without block scheduling.
• Candidates must possess the ability to manage codes effectively.
• As the sole provider during the night shift, the Hospitalist will oversee Med Surg (20 bed) and open ICU (4 bed) inpatients, rapid responses, and Emergency Department admissions.
• While procedural skills are not mandatory, proficiency in ventilator management is required.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including those in the Emergency Room, Respiratory Therapy, and nursing staff.
• They are a community, not-for-profit, acute care, critical access hospital. The organization provides primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care and 24-hour, physician-staffed emergency services.
