The Cloud Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures that serve as the technical backbone of digital transformation.

This role is highly technical, hands-on, and requires strong leadership skills. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge projects involving AI / ML, data platforms, application modernization, and DevSecOps practices across major cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will be responsible for shaping end-to-end cloud strategies—from early architectural decisions to automation, implementation, and optimization of production-ready environments.

As a Cloud Solutions Architect at CoStrategix, you will act as a senior-level contributor and technical leader across our core practices—AI Solutions & Strategy, Data Engineering, Platform Modernization, and Product Design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure blueprints, enable CI / CD automation, implement MLOps pipelines, and ensure architectural integrity, governance alignment, and cost efficiency across cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Define and deliver a comprehensive technical strategy that aligns with business objectives and leverages emerging technologies, including strategic AI / ML capabilities.

Identify architectural scenarios that parallel business needs and incorporate them into technical design and implementation.

Bridge the gap between technical and business requirements, communicating complex technical discussion points to stakeholders using clear business language.

Collaborate to design solutions focusing on security, scalability, durability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Set and enforce architectural and implementation standards across various cloud services and applications.

Partner with cloud, data, and architecture governance boards, ensuring designs and implementations adhere to enterprise architecture principles and guidelines.

Continuously research and learn new methodologies & technologies, bringing valuable knowledge and best practices back to the team.

Apply technical leadership and influence to negotiate optimal engineering and platform approaches for both data and application implementations, including robust MLOps practices for AI solutions.

Communicate with and lead a technical team consisting of project managers, team leads, QA, and developers throughout the project lifecycle.

Design automation of platforms in cloud environments with CI / CD processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Partner with architecture, data, security, infrastructure, and application teams to design and implement automation for application, data, and database platforms and tools.

Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with audit requirements and qualifications.

Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through rigorous testing.

Perform cost, capacity, and performance management analysis, optimizing resource allocation for diverse workloads, including AI compute.

Leverage AI-powered tools and platforms to accelerate the generation of daily work deliverables, such as documentation, code snippets, or design proposals, to enhance efficiency.

Possess a deep-rooted working knowledge of one or more major cloud providers, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and / or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.

Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and solution delivery across Azure, AWS, and / or GCP.

Proven experience designing and deploying cloud-native and hybrid solutions with strong emphasis on scalability, security, automation, and cost optimization.

Strong background in infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation), CI / CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.

Experience implementing or integrating AI / ML workloads, MLOps pipelines, or data platforms in cloud environments.

Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles, governance processes, and cloud security frameworks.

Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, and product managers.
