Room Attendant

Location : Hampton Inn Colchester / Burlington, VT Reports to : Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Position Summary

Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, delivering a comfortable and welcoming environment in accordance with Hampton Inn brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas) and public spaces (hallways, lounge) per Hampton standards
• Make beds, change linens, launder towels, and replace used linens and toiletries.
• Restock room supplies (coffee, toiletries, writing materials) and maintain housekeeping cart supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, wax, scrub, and polish all relevant surfaces.
• Promptly report maintenance issues, safety risks, or lost / found items to supervisors.
• Ensure key control and security of guest belongings at all times.
• Organize and maintain housekeeping storage areas and carts.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to meet guest requests and elevate guest satisfaction.
