Asheville, NC Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Asheville, NC . This position offers urgent coverage needs, cross-credentialing at multiple facilities, and competitive compensation in a Level 2 Trauma Center with high patient volume .

Opportunity Details :

  • Location : Asheville, NC (Cross-Credentialing at 10+ Affiliated Facilities)
  • Contract Type : Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
  • Start Date : ASAP ( Urgent Coverage Needed )

Shift Schedule :

  • Night Shifts Available
  • 10-12 Hour Shift Options (Varies by Facility)

    • APP Coverage :

  • Mission Hospital : 70 hours per day
  • Other Facilities : 10-12 hours per day
  • Minimum Commitment : Flexible
  • Practice Setting : Physician-led Emergency Departments

    • Facility Details :

  • Main Hospital : 90 ED Beds, Annual Volume >

    • 100k

  • Regional Facilities :
  • Level 2 Trauma Center
  • Admitting Orders : ED Physicians write only the admission order (not treatment orders), and only at night for regional facilities
  • EMR System : Cerner
  • Scribe System : Dragon Dictation
  • Temp Privileges : Available for clean files

    • Patient Load & Flow :

  • Patients Per Hour : 2-3

    • Provider Requirements :

  • Certification : ABEM Board Certified
  • Licensure : Active & Unrestricted NC State License & DEA
