Open call Friday September 12th From 2PM to 4PM.  Location 151 Ave A.

Danny & Coop’s is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, hardworking Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our team part time! If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in consistency, and want to be part of a high-energy crew serving up some of the best cheesesteaks around, we want to meet you.

Job Description

Line Cooks

  • Execute menu items with speed, accuracy, and quality.
  • Work the grill, fryers, and sandwich build stations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Follow food safety, portioning, and recipe standards.

Prep Cooks

  • Assist with daily prep : slicing, chopping, portioning, and station setup.
  • Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients.
  • Support the kitchen team during service and help keep the line stocked.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months kitchen experience preferred (not required—we’ll train the right candidate).
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain one).
  • Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for 6–8 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working around hot equipment (grills, fryers, ovens).
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and moving in a fast-paced kitchen.
