What You Bring to the Table

The video game industry and therefore our business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. As such, the duties and responsibilities of this role may be changed as directed by the Company at any time to promote and support our business and relationships with industry partners. Therefore, this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities :

Work on next generation streaming technology, heavily integrated with our renderer.

Work across a vast range of devices, with several being more than a decade old, to the latest and newest consoles, including high-end PCs.

Push our streaming technology to support vast and complex terrains, including development of our terrain technology.

Develop shaders across multiple devices and APIs to support streaming and terrain technology.

Develop, design, modify, optimize and debug the Call of Duty engine, tools and infrastructure

Communicate features and collaborate with engineering, design and art teams

Participate in the design, performance and code review process

Contribute to design and roadmap of industry-leading AAA games

Player Profile

Experience

12+ years of professional software development experience.

Experience with computer game technologies including AI programming, physics, 3D programming, animation, collision detection

Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math related field

Demonstrated knowledge of various hardware architectures, from mobile devices to consoles and PCs.

Thorough understanding of the challenges that come with implementing streaming technologies across a vast array of devices.

Demonstrated proficiency in and knowledge of C / C++, data structures, algorithms, performance, and multi-threaded programming techniques

Well versed in writing & maintaining shader code and a keen understanding of the strength & weaknesses of various GPUs.

Detailed knowledge of software design practices including modular architecture, event-driven architecture, software design patterns and object-oriented design

Solid understanding of 3D Math

Key Attributes

Ability to quickly understand and work with internal and externally developed code

Proven ability to write clean, readable, portable, reliable, and optimized code

Good communicator that enjoys collaboration with other programmers, artists and designers

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $121,500.00 - $224,880.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed. While we strive to provide competitive offers to successful candidates, new hire compensation is negotiable.
