Sales Engineer

Position overview : A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a driven Sales Engineer to join its team. This role blends technical expertise with customer-facing sales responsibilities. The ideal candidate will understand engineered products, enjoy solving client problems, and excel in building long-term business relationships.

Key responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of industrial and manufacturing clients
  • Provide technical guidance and product recommendations based on customer requirements
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure accurate solutions
  • Conduct on-site customer visits, product demonstrations, and application assessments
  • Meet revenue targets and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
  • Track sales activity and market trends to support business development

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or industrial manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or automation systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in the field
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
